The program has elevated me at least 100 steps into the future and made me part of a movement that will last a lifetime. On a personal level, it reminded me that I am a brand. There is a thin line between who I am and my business, and that awareness has changed how I show up. This experience proves that even greater minds can come from Okavango. The program strengthened my skills in scalability and sustainability, helping me understand how to grow Spring Blossom beyond Botswana while building a business that can truly last.

Being part of the Women in Tech community means a lot to me because it is a movement that doesn't just speak about change, but actively creates it. Winning this award has been deeply affirming. It reassured me that the risks I took in entrepreneurship were truly worth it. Professionally, the recognition has positioned me as a young woman building solutions that genuinely matter. Through the masterclasses, I gained critical skills in time management and systems building, which directly contributed to this award. I applied these skills to my Pay It Forward initiative while mentoring seven young girls, helping them build systems that work for them. These same systems have also transformed my personal, academic, and professional life. This win has validated my work and reminded me that I am capable of achieving meaningful impact.

It took five years in business before I won any form of recognition, so receiving this award means the world to me. I hope my journey can motivate and inspire other women to believe in themselves, even when the road feels tough. Like many entrepreneurs, my journey has been challenging, and for a long time I lacked validation for the work I was doing. This year has truly been a breakthrough season for me, and winning this award has cemented that progress, affirming that I am on the right track. When I joined the Women in Tech program, my biggest challenge was self-doubt. Through the program, my skills were elevated to a point where I am now confident in my work, my decisions, and the impact my business is creating.

The past few months in the program have contributed significantly to my growth, both as an individual and as an entrepreneur. The experience sharpened my communication skills and gave me the confidence to clearly and convincingly speak about my company. The exposure from the program also opened doors to new customers, helping to keep our cash flow more consistent and sustainable. Before joining, the technical side of my business was a major confidence gap. Through the digital tools and skills I gained, I've grown into a more confident entrepreneur with a clearer vision of where my business is headed.

Tickets Linc started as a dream a few years ago, during the COVID period when everything seemed to have stopped. Despite the risks and challenges, I was determined to turn that dream into a success. Today, I am committed to giving back by supporting others who have dreams of their own and helping them grow. From a business perspective, the program strengthened my growth strategy, particularly my vision to expand into the SADC region and East Africa. It helped me refine the operational side of the business, ensuring that our systems, plans, and strategies work effectively and sustainably. The most impactful skills I gained were in accounting, finance, taxation, and intellectual property, which played a major role in shaping our sustainability and long-term growth. One of my proudest moments was the networking and exposure the program provided, including forming new business partnerships that emerged directly from connections made within the cohort.
